Sorry, Windows phone users are either dead or walking dead.

Yup

I told my mom I want to trade my S5 in for an HTC because I can't get root access to overclock it. So yeah.

none of those :)

This is from 2010. I don't think anybody uses Blackberry anymore. The Blackberry users have moved to iPhone and I think more people that aren't XDA developers use Android now.

I've been with Android since the old Google G1, I babied that phone for 5 years.

You can't root the S5?
![]() 03/28/2015 at 15:09 |

What do you use then?

My SO now has an iPhone for work, and I have an Android as my business phone. Blackberries as business phones are circling the drain IMO.

So...apparently I'm a hot, black haired woman? Who sees herself as a blonde? Huh, learn new things every day. Boy, my wife is gonna freak out when she discovers she's been sleeping with a woman. At least I'm not a ginger.

one of these :p

But... new Blackberries can run Androind apps...

Dear god is that an LG Chocolate?
![]() 03/28/2015 at 15:18 |

Probably an AT&T/Verizon/etc. S5.

So you're a fossilized dinosaur then.
![]() 03/28/2015 at 15:18 |

And you can't root them?

I used to be a Palm WebOS user, now I'm a WinPho user. I think this is more accurate than "dead or walking dead"

close, it's an env3

I'm not familiar with it because my last Samsung product was from years ago, but apparently some phones on some carriers can't be rooted. Or at least, a method hasn't been found.

Must be a US thing. I've never had any problems with any phone here in Canada.

You know your phone platform of choice is losing when it's not included in comedy sketches...

I have a blackberry. I love it. Shut your whore mouth.

The S5 is locked down hard, I don't think they've found a method to do it yet.

Yeah they have.

I don't think I've known anybody who's had a Blackberry for a company phone since 2010.

Yay, another Windows Phone user!
I do a bit of .Net development now and again, and Windows Phone was the logical choice if I wanted to make my own app.

My phone is a phone.

If Blackberry made an Android device with a physical keyboard and their messaging software, I'd be so happy.

God, you're right. BlackBerry was still a thing in 2010. How swiftly the mighty fall.
Hell, fucking Palm just took a nosedive and disappeared completely in like a year.

I can't star this enough.
